CZ-USA 452 American Rimfire Bolt Action Rifle, model 02070. 17HMR caliber. 22.5" barrel length. Blued finish. Turkish walnut stock. 5-round capacity.
The CZ 452 American features a more American appearance. The stock has a straight comb, the barrel is 22 1/2 long, and is made without open sights. The top of the receiver is fitted with a 3/8" wide dovetail groove for mounting a scope. As with all CZ rifles the stock is Turkish walnut.
The CZ Rimfire rifles produced by Ceska Zbrojovka Uhersky Brod are among the most sought-after firearms in the world. The CZ 452 actions are manufactured from steel billets, not tubing or plastic, and the barrels are hammer-forged for accuracy and long life. The trigger is adjustable for weight. The safety is located above the rear of the bolt and provides a positive firing pin block.

Beautiful gun! Very elegant, but simple which attracted me. I have shot the left handed model and I bought the right handed model. Both performed amazing! What I like about CZ vs the others(Savage & Marlin) is how easy the magazine is inserted and ejected. I have never experienced a jam or failure to eject shells. The bolt was a bit stiff and gritty when I bought it, but it has loosened up with use. The barrel will need to be floated as it touches the stock on the right distal end. You can get many more "fancy" options with savage and marlin, but the CZ shines with quality.

This is the best shooting and best looking bolt action .17 I have seen for under 400.dallars give it a look before you buy anything else.
